SUMMARY:Open Mic Night
DESCRIPTION:Open MIc Night offers an opportunity for performing artists to get up and share their talents.  Artists can play covers of popular music or their own original songs\, sing karaoke\, tell stand-up comedy\, read poetry\, or reminisce through storytelling.  Many previous attendees and first timers on the stage say it has helped build their confidence.  The event is on the second Friday of the month and starts at 7pm.  Performers and attendees are asked to pay a $5 cover\, concessions are available\, and people can bring their favorite beverages. \n
