SUMMARY:Open Mic Night
DESCRIPTION:Open MIc Night offers an opportunity for performing artists to get up and share their talents.  Artists can play covers of popular music or their own original songs\, sing karaoke\, tell stand-up comedy\, read poetry\, or reminisce through storytelling.  Many previous attendees and first timers on the stage say it has helped build their confidence.  The event is on the second Friday of the month and starts at 7pm.  Performers and attendees are asked to pay a $5 cover\, concessions are available\, and people can bring their favorite beverages.

While getting divorced\, Felix\, a rigid and uptight man\, needs a helping hand from Oscar\, an obnoxious sports writer\, who generously offers to help him get back on his feet but fails to anticipate the repercussions on the weekly poker game\, his own dating life\, and his personal standard of hygiene. The production is directed by Beverly Bain.\n\nThere are three opportunities to see the performance on January 30th at 7pm\, January 31st at 7pm\, and February 1st at 2 pm.
